The project originates from the reflections of Fernández del Amo. It consists of five terraced single-family homes located in a small village in Hellín, on a plot that embraces two distinct realities: an urban landscape and an agricultural one.
The design seeks to incorporate the tradition of an architecture defined by its volumes and spaces—functional architecture capable of creating an intimate and welcoming atmosphere. The project establishes a connection with the past, immersed in a landscape that comes alive with the changing seasons while integrating harmoniously into its urban surroundings.
The brick façade gives the ensemble a noble and traditional character. Inside the homes, a generous, open and dynamic space acts as a filter between the urban and agricultural landscapes. Access to the roof offers the opportunity to experience a new space, gain perspective and contemplate the vibrant landscape that surrounds it.
